Facing inside

As part of hFACTOR’s 2019 theme, “Queering Spaces”, I presented a body of work at 16/16 alongside Yadichinma Ukoha-Kalu’s Asusu installation. The work featured an exploration of color and layered repurposed cardboard. The pieces emerged from conversations we were having at the time with our Lagos Island community to discover new possibilities for the expression of our repressed selves both in mind and physical location.
